Fabregas splits with agent over his desire to remain at Arsenal

ARSENAL midfielder Cesc Fabregas is believed to have split with long-term agent Joséba Diaz over his desire to remain with the Gunners.

It was though that the former Barcelona trainee's representative had been hankering to move his client back to Spain, with Real Madrid the likely suitors.

But according to media reports today the 20-year-old midfielder is believed to have preferred to have continued his development at the Emirates under Arsene Wenger rather than remain with Diaz.

i feel cesc should split coz it seems his agent wants to spoil his future before it develops fully. when you can remember what happened to anelka, then you advice a 19year old player to stay at the club for more three years. yes i know money is the key to drive every thing but for now cesc needs to reach to the extend of ronald before he can think of leaving the club.

gotta love cesc, its a pretty rare occasion when a player splits with his agent and hats off to cesc for knowing what he wants, and not what his sniveling agent wants

Yet another example of foreign players are Arsenal showing more class & loyalty, than most of the English players we've had! (Upson, Bentley, Cole, Penant...)

Love ya Cesc! You are a living legend son!

I think he has done the right thing, Agents are a curse players never had agents years ago ask stanley Mathews, cesk has the good sevse to look after himself and I am sure Arsenal and Wenger will never try to cheat him. Tony.

Cesc is a magnificent footballer, and showing that he can make such a big move proves how mature he is as well. He will definetly be World Player of the Year soon. Arsenal4Life
