LEYTONSTONE: Muggers target 88-year-old on mobility scooter

A gang of muggers snatched a bag from an 88-year-old woman riding a mobility scooter.

The pensioner had turned into Beachcroft Road from Leytonstone High Road when a woman tried to snatch her bag.

The pensioner held on but two men then pulled the bag from her.

The bag contained property including a bankcard.

The pensioner, who was not injured, was unable to provide a description of her attackers.

Anyone with information about the incident. which happened on at about 6.20pm on Monday (March 24?, can call Chingford CID on 8345 3035 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

this muger know haveded this scoters? i seeing maney time ride bike mugeded pepal and now is atack womaen 88 old lady? how police no get this if scoter? must see obvos and how is disbald this boy? must get and lokeded up in the prisons and trow key in sea and no let go
