MANCHESTER City owner Thaksin Shinawatra is reportedly considering putting his entire squad on sale - news which will alert Tottenham, who have been linked with a number of the team's players.

Shinawatra's ludicrous decision to oust Sven Goran Eriksson from his post as manager has been followed by another shocking rumour that he is planning to start from scratch and initiate an overhaul of his playing staff.

And this latest move will put Spurs on red alert.

Boss Juande Ramos has been strongly linked with a move for City defender Richard Dunne and goalkeeper Joe Hart, while highly-rated midfielder Michael Johnson has also been mentioned.
