Usmanov wants answers from Arsenal board
 |
| Alisher Usmanov |
MEDIA Speculation suggests that Arsenal shareholder Alisher Usmanov is set for showdown talks with the Gunners board.
The Russian billionaire is the north London club's biggest shareholder, and is demanding to have some key questions answered from the power heads at the Emirates Stadium.
The Daily Mail claims Usmanov, will be having strategy talks in Moscow with representatives of his Red & White holding company over the next few days.
That includes meeting up with former Arsenal vice chairman David Dein, to decide their next move in the Emirates Stadium power battle.
This follows Red & White's concerns over the recent and sudden departure of managing director Keith Edelman.

Usmanov has no interest in Arsenal FC - only money. He is merely trying to keep Fat & Orange Holdings media profile up. The fans see through him. Get lost to him and his cronies.

He's in Russia watching his favourite team United. We don't need this man, his money or his side kick Dein.

Look at the debts of Manure and Chavs - not for us, [italic]please[/italic] ! I've been a fan for over 50 years and want my grandkids to have the same wonderful life as Gooners.

He has nothing to offer Arsenal whatsoever... for now. IF he had come along when we needed financing for the stadium and had no funds for transfers, then perhaps he would have been welcomed by some. IF he had come along at that point and had offered to make 50 million quid available for transfers, then I think some of us would have been tempted to welcome him. As it is, he has arrived at a time when we don't need his cash, and with a manager who probably wouldn't spend it even if he had it available.
I hate to say it, but if Arsene was to leave Arsenal before he does, we may need his millions to remain competitive. Nobody in the world can build teams like Arsene on his small budget, and any successor to Wenger would likely need to spend on par with Manure and Chelski to remain competitive.
What a sad day that would be!
